There are two ski resorts in Morocco where snow is somewhat guaranteed to fall and visitors can rent equipment. The snow season in the country is between mid-December and March.
Oukaimedan:  Just 45 miles from Marrakech at an altitude of 3200m is the highest ski resort in Africa and probably one of the most original places to go skiing or snowboarding when you are in Morocco. The village is perched at 2,600m and its chairlift rising to the peak of Jebel Attar at 3,258m and servicing 5 runs at this height. There are also four drag lifts servicing the nursery and intermediate slopes. Ski and snowboarding equipment can be rented on the spot if you suddenly feel like hitting the snow. Oukaimedan has all the facilities you find in a European resort and the ski runs are suitable for all kinds of skiing. It is also a hikers’ starting point for the Ourika Valley, Asni and the ascent of Mount Toubkal.
Michlifen: Another stunning ski area which spreads near the mountain town of Ifrane in the fascinating area of the Middle Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 2000m. The ski area here is at a low altitude and has four slopes so skiers need to be out early to enjoy the conditions. Transportation, when working is provided by a chair-lift and a ski-lift.
Accommodation including a luxurious hotel and several descent restaurants are available in the beautiful town of Ifrane nearby; ski and sled rental is also available. This resort is mostly frequented by locals and those just making the short trip from nearby Fes and Meknes to enjoy the scenery.
For ski fans, Morocco Incoming Services organizes unforgattable trips in Morocco.
