Travel from the snow-capped Atlas Mountains to the endless sands of the Sahara and from the medieval old town of Fes to the spice markets of Marrakech; enjoy the rich history and natural beauty of this amazing country and observe the vibrant collision between old and new expressed in architecture and artwork. Learn about fallen cities and cross paths with nomadic tribes. Discover the many mysteries and legends concealed within this beautiful, exotic and unique destination.



Day 1: Arrive in Casablanca. Discover the Art Deco influences of this metropolis. Head out on a personal exploration trip through Casablanca's heart and admire some of its architectural gems including the beautiful Hassan II Mosque and the imposing Cathédrale du Sacré Coeur.


Day 2: Casablanca - Rabat - Meknes: Stroll through Rabat's serene Kasbah before journeying to Meknes, the former capital of Morocco and the site of Sultan Moulay Ismail's palace. Overnight in Meknes.


Days 3-4: Meknes - Volubilis - Fes: Travel back to the days of the Roman Empire on a guided tour of the ruins of Volubilis. In medieval Fes, wander the narrow alleyways of the most famous medina as the call to prayer floats over Fes el-Bali at dusk. Overnight in Fes.


Day 5: Fes - Midelt. Journey through Morocco's cedar forests in the Middle Atlas Mountains to the peaceful and rural village of Midelt. Stop by a handicraft workshop run by Franciscan nuns, a great place to pick up a beautifully crafted souvenir. Overnight in Midelt.


Day 6: Midelt - Sahara Camp. After a camel ride into the Sahara desert, attempt a climb of the towering dunes. Sleep in a desert camp under the stars.


Days 7-8: Todra Gorge. Wake up early and enjoy the golden sunrise over the desert before heading to the impressive palmeries of Todra Gorge. For active travelers, go for a walk or try rock-climbing.


Day 9: Ait Benhaddou. Drive through Ouarzazate, Morocco's film capital on the way to the ancient fortified city of Ait Benhaddou. Explore the streets of this clay Kasbah at a relaxed pace, then finish off the day with a delicious Moroccan meal.


Day 10: Aroumd - Marrakech. Depart the Sahara and head to the hills. Perched on a rocky outcrop, remote Aroumd offers stunning views. This is the perfect base for exploring the High Atlas Mountains and a chance to experience traditional Berber culture up close. Diner and overnight in Marrakech.


Days 11: Marrakech - Essaouira. With its Norfolk Island pines and colorful fishing boats, relaxed Essaouira is a gem. Get acquainted with the town's fascinating history on a guided walking tour and then enjoy free time to wander along the beach, visit art galleries or feast on freshly caught seafood. Diner and overnight in Marrakech.


Days 12: Marrakech. Explore the tantalizing spice market, the numerous outstanding monuments of this ancient and vibrant city; a superb example of ornate muslim architecture. End your exciting tour with a visit and diner at the UNESCO World-heritage site of Jamaa el-Fna. Overnight in Marrakech.


Day 13: Depart Marrakech according to your flight schedule.
