This exciting guided excursion will take all day from 7:00am to 7:00pm and you will cover approximately 400 km through which you will kick back and enjoy the scenery and the beauty of this part of the country.
You will be picked up at 0700 am from your hotel in Agadir. And head for Tafraout towards the Anti Atlas Mountains. With photo stops and details of the regions from your guide. Past the village of Aït Baha, the road begins to climb into a fascinating and dramatic desert landscape of jagged peaks, giant boulders and red-walled canyons, softened by lush green oases with Berber mud houses scattered around the hills. This area is abundant with Argan trees (you may have a chance to see goats perched on them feeding on the seeds and leaves, time for a photo shoot) and agricultural patches which make the landscape fascinating. A photo stop is scheduled at the impressive village of Ida ou Gnidif as well as a coffee break at Madaou Oasis at around 10:00am and around 11:00am you will make another stop to view the idyllic Ameln Valleybefore proceeding to the village of Aguerdoudad, with its striking pink granite rocks. This whole area is plentiful with incredible natural rock formations, a break is planned here. Reaching Tafraout around 12:30, this gorgeous little town is noted for its market and local handicrafts. Lunch break then set out for the city of Tiznit with a photo stop at the village of Aday and the Col du Kerdous arriving at Tiznit around 4:30pm This town is well known for its silver jewelry, mint, daggers, sabres and red crenellated walls of packed earth; you will have a 45mn break here to explore the markets before hitting the road and arriving in Agadir around 07:00pm
