Ifrane is a city in the Middle Atlas region of Morocco; it has a population of about 15,000 and is one of the most beautiful and cleanest places in the country. With verdant cider forests, Lakes, fountains and greenery, Ifrane is full of life and enterprising spirit.
 
This magnificent little jewel is serving as a gateway to the magnificent waterfalls and a refreshing portal on the famous Ain Vittel and it is mostly famous for its incongruous Alpine style ski resort and moderate climate during the summer months.
 
Here, hikers, athletes, cyclists as well as anglers and rock climbers have a world of choices for adventure and challenge; Ifrane is the ultimate and attractive destination for international and local visitors throughout the year.
 
Ifrane is also home to Al-Akhawayn University, a non-profit Moroccan university which is based on the American system of education. The university is nestled amidst the stunning wilderness of the beautiful forest of the Middle Atlas.
Restaurants, cafes, hotels, nightlife, a weekly market, bazaars, hammams, campgrounds, and shops plus other amenities make Ifrane a pleasant place to visit.
 
The town is one hour from the citis of Fes and Meknes, 3 hours from the capital Rabat, and 4 hours from the great Casablanca.
